DasavathaaramKollywood Ullaga nayaghan Kamal Hassan’s Dasavatharam released yesterday and left fans spellbound by its sheer magic and magnificence.
The fans were in a frenzy. Fans performed “abhishekams” on Kamal’s cut-outs. Some were so overwhelmed that they had tears of happiness and excitement in their eyes. Others were jumping up and down with excitement.
For the first few minutes, the audience were unable to express any reaction; they were so spellbound and mesmerized by the magnum opus. One could hear uniform sounds and sighs that express surprise and awe from everyone. After that, when they regained their composure, there was huge applause for each and every “avatar” as and when it appeared or rather as and when it was recognized! There was a huge standing ovation at the end of the film. In the end, everyone came out of the theatre with a look that expressed satisfaction, an eagerness to "explore" the film again, and an excitement equivalent to riding a roller-coaster. They were deeply moved by the theme of the film.
